For our Client, a leading international engineering contractor, we are recruiting for the position of:
Electrical QC Inspector – Data Centre Project
Location: Denmark
Work model: On-site
Your responsibilities
As Electrical QC Inspector, you will ensure that electrical systems, components and installations comply with project specifications, safety requirements and relevant industry standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- inspecting electrical installations during and after construction;
- verifying compliance with approved drawings, specifications and applicable electrical standards;
- monitoring the quality of electrical works completed by contractors and subcontractors;
- carrying out continuity, insulation-resistance, voltage and other required electrical tests;
- inspecting incoming materials and components before installation;
- reviewing equipment certificates and supporting quality documentation;
- maintaining inspection records, test logs and quality-control reports;
- raising and managing Non-Conformance Reports;
- monitoring corrective actions and confirming that identified issues have been resolved;
- supporting inspections, walkdowns, snagging and system close-out;
- working with Site Engineers, Supervisors and contractors to resolve quality issues;
- ensuring that inspections and testing are completed safely;
- providing recommendations to improve installation and quality-control processes;
- maintaining quality records using BIM 360 Field Management or similar platforms;
- supporting the preparation of systems for testing, commissioning and handover.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who have:
- a strong electrical trade or construction background, or a relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering;
- at least 3 years of experience in a senior, lead or supervisory quality position;
- experience on Data Centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or similarly complex projects;
- practical knowledge of electrical installations and testing procedures;
- understanding of relevant electrical codes and standards, including IEC requirements;
- experience inspecting works against drawings, specifications and approved technical documentation;
- knowledge of NCR management, corrective actions and quality reporting;
- experience with materials inspections, snagging and system walkdowns;
- proficiency in MS Office and BIM 360 Field Management or a similar platform;
- strong communication and stakeholder-management skills;
- the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team;
- excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality delivery;
- good command of English;
- legal eligibility to work in Denmark.
Previous quality-control experience on a hyperscale Data Centre project will be a significant advantage.
